Normally when folks think of doing a retreat they automatically think of a retreat center – or a small hotel. But today I want to show you how you can rent a luxury villa and create an outrageous event!

I’ve chosen to highlight a beautiful villa on the Mayan Riviera in Puerto Aventuras which is just south of Playa del Carmen (but north of Tulum) just one hour south of the Cancun airport.

However – if you want to run a retreat locally – you’d be surprised how many villas there are in your country or even right near your hometown!

This stunning villa has a small house that comes with it if you want – or you can just rent the main villa itself. The main space has 7 bedrooms with 5 king beds and two rooms with 2 twins. The casita has an additional 4 bedrooms with two kings and 2 twins.

If you just took the 7 bedrooms in the main house you would divide the total cost by 6 to get the per room pricing.

So the rooms with the king beds could be single rooms and the ones with twin beds could be advertised as double rooms. It turns out to be very reasonable for a crazy beautiful villa!

Onsite staff includes a property manager (English/Spanish), housekeeper, gardener, maid and laundress (on request, extra cost). Additional staff includes a butler, masseuse, chef and driver (extra cost).

Puerto Aventuras is conveniently located to take advantage of the many places to visit in the area, including Mayan ruins, cenotes, stunning beaches, Eco parks Xcaret, Xelha, Xplor, world class suba diving and cave diving, Dolphin Discovery, Hidden Worlds and much more!

For larger groups and events this villa can be rented along with the two villas that are located right next door! Now that I think about it I might have to ring up 10 of my good friends right now and invite them down there with me!
